Once you pass Lake Wakitipu and the town of Kingston on the way to Lake Te Anue the landscape level off to lovely grass covered hills.. Please not the rail tracks running parrallel with the road..

About two seconds after taking the last shot the "Kingston Flyer " was suddenly in the shot.. I was completely taken by surprise... sorry this shot is not the best but we must have been traveling over 120 miles in opposite directions...

My Sally has always been a resourceful person...!!! before we left England I called Barclay Bank to inform them of our plans to Holiday in New Zealand. Barclay had our record amended to allow us to us our bank cards... however the first time Sally used her card at a cash machine it was refuse.. she was unable to contact Barclay by phone so she put the card to use as a spoon for eating yogurt..
