Every afternoon at 3:30pm there is a show of feeding the pelicans at The Entrance, NSW. About 50 strong pelicans gather at the feeding point every afternoon. Thanks to the volunteers and patrons who make this event successful and ongoing.
The Entrance is about 100 km north east of Sydney.

Voodoo Point is located in the Kurnell Kamay National park. It is about 21.4 km south of the Sydney central business district. Named by surfers after the almost supernatural sets unleashed upon it, Voodoo Point being a reef break means this little surfing haven of big waves when the conditions are pristine and is for experienced surfers only, make no mistake about that! It has been known to host 15 foot swells.

For non-surfers, the rock formations up on the cliffs are spectacular. On a hot summer's afternoon, in conjunction with the streaky clouds against a subdued blue sky, these rocks appeared surrealistic and beautiful. Looking beyond the horizon is Tasman Sea.

According to the North Sydney Council, the Coal Loader Centre was opened in the 1920s and primarily served to transfer coal from bulk carriers onto smaller vessels. It remained in operation until 1992, after which the site was transferred into the hands of North Sydney Council for management as public land. The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability is now run by North Sydney Council and is an intricate mesh of history, culture, industry, nature, and community.

Set on a hectare of spectacular harbourside, ex-industrial locale, Coal Loader is now an heritage listed site.

This derelict pier, in the warm summer afternoon sun and green sea water setting, makes a beautiful abstract vista.
