These beautiful hot springs and pools are located in the Upper Geyser Basin, situated between the Grand Prismatic Pool and Morning Glory Pool, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA.
In the foreground is the Pinto Geothermal Spring, in the middle left is the Gem Pool. These two are partially connected. In the distant right is the Calthos Spring. They are reachable via a gravel trail, a few hundred metres from the Biscuit Basin Car Park. Took this image a few moments before noon. Lazy white clouds were casting interesting shadows on the distant hills.
