Rubha nan Gall lighthouse(Gaelic for Stranger's point)
This lighthouse is situated at the north end of island of Mull Scotland and overlooks the Sound of Mull and the distant Ardnamurcan hills
A very early start on Saturday morning to arrive at this location before sunrise and choose my POV a slight mishap on rout with a deer antler lying in the road disguised as a tree branch, Returned to the pickup 4 hours later to discover a very flat tyre new tyre required :-(
I enjoyed a very relaxing 4 hours at the lighthouse and was rewarded with some lovely conditions from dramatic skies to mist and rain, This imaged was shot during a rain heavy rain shower which softened the distant hills perfectly and combined with a long exposure created a lovely soft minimalistic atmosphere

Friday last week and finally a touch of snow, I had a spare hour in the morning so popped along to this old lone Scots Pine that's close to home and one I have been waiting to shoot when the conditions were suitable. Hope you enjoy viewing

These power lines sit in the field in front of our home, the farmer has been ploughing recently and i have had my eye on this simple composition for a few days. Yesterday we had some huge hail and rain downpours. This was taken just as one was approaching creating the black backdrop over the hills behind Crieff. Not the most exciting composition but possibly worth a shot

I was sad to see that this lovely tree has succumbed to the winter storms and is now laying where it landed.
I went through my raw file archives and found this one that I never processed as it was taken with my 45 mm tilt shift while the ones I have processed were all 85mm.
