An adult Brown Booby comes up after its dive with a Needlefish in its bill. Taken in the Caribbean Sea near Puerto Rico.

Bobbies, like gannets, are in the family Sulidae. Their forward facing eyes help them as they dive for fish. They often follow ships to catch fish that are stirred up by the vessel's passing.

This was a big crop from my photo taken from the rail of our cruise ship.

An adult Masked Booby flies by me while I was on a cruise ship near Puerto Rico.

Bobbies, like gannets, are in the family Sulidae. Their forward facing eyes help them as they dive for fish. They often follow ships to catch fish that are stirred up by the vessel's passing.

I added some canvas to the top, bottom and right side of this full frame shot to give the bird a little more space.

Another life list addition for me. Photographed at a salt pan on Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos.

Three Black-Necked Stilts rest at a different salt pan on Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. Minor editing to remove a few flies and debris from the water.

Another Life List Addition. A "white morph" Reddish Egret begins its "dance" to hunt fish in a salt pan on Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos.

I had read about this behaviour but the description pales to actually observing it in real life.
