Another shot taken through the glass of our tour bus. This time we were driving over a bridge as the shepherd led his donkey and drove his flocks along the dry wadi (river bed).

The desert gazelles are not too sharp but since they were photographed through the window of our bus as it travelled up the highway, towards Jerusalem, at around 85-90 Km/hr I was pleased to be able to get even this single image.

Photographed in the Judean Desert near Masada and the Dead Sea in Israel. This male gave me a good look back when he paused for a moment before following the rest of the bachelor herd back into the desert.
Their colouration blends perfectly with their surroundings.

A Jewish man at the Western (Wailing) Wall - Jerusalem.
I really like the simplicity and anonymity of this image. You can see some of the thousands of pieces of paper containing prayers wedged between the wall stones. They are placed there by people who wish to leave their prayers there. Over time the pieces fall out and are replaced by new ones. The old ones are respectfully collected and buried.
