Algonquin Provincial Park, in Ontario, is best known for it's beautiful scenery as well as its wildlife (moose, bear, Spruce Grouse etc.). If you take the time to look its beauty can be revealed in other, smaller things as well.
I created this image of these colourful berries along the Spruce Bog trail. These are Northern Wild Raisin ("Viburnum cassinoides")

The white Trillium is the provincial flower of Ontario.
I came upon this vast expanse of white Triliums in the Backus Woods near Long Point in southern Ontario. Backus woods has some very lovely trails and is owned and managed by the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
I have long dreamed of finding a concentration of Triliums like this so I was very happy to see this view open up before me. This image was created by merging 4 consecutive, overlapping, vertical images in Photoshop and creating a panoramic perspective.
