As the evening sun set at Bryce Canyon, the warm, sort colors burst in the shaded areas of the park.

This is a scene of Park Avenue from the overlook and trailhead of La Sal Mountain viewpoint in Arches. A really scenic area of the park.

No pun intended but it went perfectly as a title. After leaving Zion and heading west to Bryce we made a few stops along the way. The Breaks were first. The image is registered at 11:00 but my camera is set for EST. Utah is 2 hours earlier so I don't think the camera changes auto or not. Kinda doubt it.
Anyway after all that shit,,,,, its definitely sometime in the morning right? Anyhow, the scenes in this park are sweet. It has very similar formations and colors as Bryce, as I found out.

The early evening sun casts its rays more horizontally and creates shadows in the sand not seen midday. I loved the clouds and the way the sun shown brightly through the clouds not long before it settled behind the hill tops.
