Was fishing yesterday evening with my buddy Jim. Met him at the lake. Him in his boat and me on mine. Got a little late so he went his way and I started driving to the dock I put in at a few miles away. Came around Neely's point and saw the sky lighting up so I stopped to take a few shots of the sky. When I started the boat back up, the prop fell off. Bad news with it getting dark and all. Got my spare prop on but couldn't reach around the motor to tighten the bolt. So I yelled over to the two fishermen in the boat on the bottom right of the photo for a little help. The came over and helped me secure the proper from their boat. I thanked them and they were on their way. Otherwise, Michael would have had to row the boat ashore. Kinda hard with one oar. Many thanks again guys.

Sunrise on Lake Arthur, Moraine State Park, Pa

This morning got up a little earlier than normal. Put on a pot and while it was brewing, decided to load up and go to the lake to see if I could catch a sunrise then look for some birds. The sky was normal as it brightened. Then the clouds started getting pink. So bright. It actually subsided really quick. I mean within ten minutes it was back to normal. It was quite beautiful and so glad I caught. I generally tend to show up 5 minutes to late for the rise and falls. Lucked out this time.
