I bought a few new lenses recently to shoot on film cameras. Today I got chance to try some out when visiting family
This looks very processed perhaps but the majority of the work was done in camera by this awesome little lens.
It is called an Orion-15 and I will feature it on YouTube soonish
Leica M240 + Orion-15 28mm f6 LTM lens @f6 (vignetting mostly in camera).
I love any lens that can make a boring scene look cool to me.. from my research on this lens it was an instant buy.

I was excited to develop the film from Poland at the weekend.. what did I want to scan first.. the pretty girl glam photos... no the walkabout photos with my new lens! :) ..one of
This was a strange one for me. The Orion-15 28mm f6 LTM lens is not calibrated on the Leica cameras so I tried it on the Bessa L that has no rangefinder! I scale focused the images and here's the first sample.
To recap... why do I buy lenses.. if they render scenes better than reality. This lens had impressed me on Flickr and my photo here is perfect for my taste. Soft, painterly and better than digital could ever achive. Well done Orion-15!

In a fast developing world I felt fortunate to see a series of images unfold, from the loco parked up, the wagons lined waiting, the power plant and then to see the same train, same wagons coming towards me on the bridge I was standing on. Very geeky I know but I love this stuff and one day it will be history. See link for more images -

Lens did well into the sun, scale focused and composed via cheap 28mm broken plastic finder as camera has no finder or RF. I enjoyed 28mm so have another camera coming to help with that :)
