In the past whenever I tested a new camera I tended to take a photo of my bike..
You may have noticed less photos recently and a lot less new film photos. The culprit is shown in this image. I have started triathlons again so my obsession for photography was for a time shifted to training and the new bike. Getting towards the end of the season now I am happy to see a slight shift back to photography and in particular wanting to shoot film. It will nice to balance the two.
I bought my first 35mm bulk film loader about 3 months ago so finally last night I rolled myself a short test roll. This is my first bulk loaded film photo and my first Kodak Plus X film photo.
In tune with keeping things classic I shot this on my Leica M3 double stroke + Leica Summicron 50mm f2 DR lens at f2, 1/100 @ 100. The rangefinder needs recalbrating so I think I will continue to use my trusty Leica M6 for the next roll.

I bought my first 35mm bulk film loader about 3 months ago so finally rolled myself a short test roll. Here is my standard mirror selfie in the garden that I normally use to check if the camera is calibrated. I focused on the writing on the front of the lens! At least my eyes were in focus instead haha :)
Excuse the bad model! :) My work face! :) ..hadn't planned a photoshoot so just in from swimming, still with band on arm and hair a mess!
On a side note I like the results from Kodak Plus X.. a lower contrast more classic look
