After getting my most recent 4x5 film camera i've developed a 'strange' love for photographing buildings (considering I normally get to photo nice ladies!) Here is a scene in our Tenerife hotel that caught my eye. I loved the play of light and all the lines.
Although i've not used my Hasselblad SWC-M much yet I really enjoyed it for this type of photo and much faster than setting up a 4x5 on a tripod!
..that said i'm not expecting building photos to get as many likes as the models so I will have to mix them in :)

(I try not to crop too much but this is cropped maybe 15% to tidy up composition as I was hanging over a balcony so couldn't get any closer)...also composing the SWC is not an exact art so this may become the norm using this camera

Sorry for a few days of no photos, I was away for a triathlon race (see Instagram story if interested)
Another from Tenerife. I wanted to capture the location aswell as model photos this time and hope to do the same going forward. It's a nice visual memory from the trip for me if nothing else.
Looking over our balcony with the SWC!

I went to Budapest primarily for model photography but I also love urban scenes. Here is a shot from an early morning bike ride before the models were due to arrive
I've used rangefinder cameras (mostly Leica) for quite a while now but only recently have I started to really consider parralax error. For this shot I wanted the chinmey to be framed by the leaves yet I knew the lens had a lower angle of view than my eye looking through the RF so I had to try to compensate. I'm happy it came out OK.

I went exploring further afield one morning on my bike in Budapest and came across this industrial area that I really liked the look of. It was a rushed shot as workmen were gathering at the sight of this strange English guy in lycra on a bike on their patch with a camera. I think I twisted the camera to see the overhead pipe but the wonky chimneys are a bit distracting. It's a nice reminder and I will return next time with a MF camera.
