I'm back.(just) but had to get a pic uploaded before I unpack. Spent a week in Tenerife so had plenty of time to play with my cameras.
We visited Las Americas midweek and I was hopeful of getting a few people shots but that soon turned into photographer blues when the high midday sun gave me nothing to work with and just sunburn! Undetered I persuaded my better half to revist last night (our last evening on the island).. and how it paid off! :D :D :D
The low light was amazing and created endless oppotunities for the oppotunist with a keen eye! I love silouette shots as I feel I can take photos of people face to face yet hold my nerve as I can't see their expression through the viewfinder.
This shot is a low res JPEG straight out the camera but I loved it as soon as i'd taken it. I probably got 50-100 silouette shots over an hour taken all along the promenade so many more to come.
I used the Zuiko 50mm lens @ f11 that came with the recently purchased OM-1 which was also out in action.
