Orange sand dunes on road 1010 with the Henry mountains peaking over them. The Henries were the last mountain range in the USA to be mapped. Taken prior to arriving at the Park entrance.

Shortly after passing the Hans Flat Ranger Station you come to the Millard Canyon Overlook on the left. Not to be missed, a spectacular view. The canyon runs about 15 miles from here to the Green River.

Not poisonous, but there were vipers around. Fortunately we did not come across any. Btw, this is why you should not step over a rock!!
