This was on the property of The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs in La Grande, Oregon. My wife and I had just arrived for our stay when I decided to explore the grounds. The late afternoon sun brightly enhanced the surrounding colors and details and created rich long shadows.

Happy Wall Wednesday, everyone!

These wall shadows caught my eye during a recent visit to Silverton. I was taken by the way they (the shadows) created a "box" or "squaring" effect of the rectangular-shaped balconies due to a particular angle of the sun.
