BRIDGE NAME: Milo Academy Covered Bridge
COUNTY: Douglas
STREAM: South Umpqua River
NEAREST TOWN: Days Creek
STATUS: Open to traffic
BRIDGE LENGTH: 100 Feet
YEAR BUILT: 1920 (Original)
REPLACED: 1962
ADDED TO NRHP: November 29, 1979

Other Notes: The structure was built to replace an original covered wooden bridge from 1920. It provides access to the Milo Adventist Academy boarding school. In fact, the bridge is the ONLY access to the school's campus. If it falls no one gets in or out. Yikes!
