Next stop: Houston. We've spent only one night there and visited NASA Johnson Space Center in the morning. We found the Starhip Gallery pretty impressive since original spacecraft like the actual Mercury Atlas 9 "Faith 7" capsule are on display. However, the Lunar Rover in this shot is only a trainer, it probably never left Texas.

The Saturn V rocket is one of the largest and most powerful ever built. The three stages of the Saturn V on display at NASA Johnson Space Center is a mixed together from three actual rockets: SA-514 (stage one), SA-515 (stage two) und der SA-513 (stage three). The image shows stage one together with a small hint on the country of origin.
