I don't know what the weather forecast for Valentine's Day was, but it sure was "snowy" out there. Saw a personal best, eight Snowy Owls today(imaged seven of them) and also saw a Gyrfalcon, my first.
It's looking more and more like this could be a Gyrfalcon, will post in a couple of ID groups to be sure.

Took a break from Snowy Owls today. And what a way to take a break!
Spotted my first Gyrfalcon about a week ago, spotted a couple more today. Apparently, these birds are usually quite skittish, but not these guys. They gave me some very good opportunities for some shots.
According to the experts, this is an adult grey phase.
