Day 272 of 365, have to work early today so I quickly ran down to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary this morning to see what was up and around. Wasn't exactly expecting to see a Porcupine walking across the bridge towards me. I moved off the bridge and let him pass, but i think I could have stayed right where I was, he totally ignored me. This was the first one I have seen outside of a zoo.
93 to go!

Saw my first porcupine in the wild a few weeks ago, now I've seen two. I wandered down to the Wyndham-Carseland Provincial Park today and spotted this guy in a tree about 75 yards away. He kinda stuck out like a sore thumb. I got up close for some shots and he just ignored me, even though I was crunching through the brush beneath him. The most he did was lift his head a bit and open his eyes.

This is not a crop, I was only about 10 feet below him.

This is pretty much how I first spotted him.
