Day 112 of 365, 90% of the time a shot of a bird on my list of birds yet to see will be my 365 shot, and this is no exception. Spotted this Merlin and it's mate down at Little Bow Provincial Park today. They are a very cool looking fairly small raptor. I had seen one last year in Fish Creek, but didn't get the shot. I got lots of shots of these guys, although they stayed pretty high in the trees. Saw another bird on my list, a Townsend's Solitaire, in the same park and later saw a Ferruginous Hawk, another on the list.
