It was a good day for birds. Started out at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary where I saw Mallards, Geese, Common Mergansers, a Hooded Merganser and my first Wood Duck sighting of the spring. Then headed out of the city to see if the Snowy Owls were still around. They were.

My first sightings of Tundra Swans and Northern Pintails this spring. It's a twofer sighting!

I thought these were Trumpeters at first because that's what they sounded like, but after closer inspection(yellow mark on bill), they turned out to be Tundra's.
