I spent a week in Yosemite National Park, While there we had a Full Moon and on the evening of the full Moon we captured this Moonbow over lower Yosemite Falls, This Image was captured at 10:43 Pm..

Conditions were difficult with strong winds and Heavy Mist blowing at you from the crashing water below the falls.Keeping the lens from spotting was a challenge Also focusing was very difficult due to the heavy mist and wide open aperture, This was one of the better images I managed of the bunch.

This was my first time seeing a Moonbow, let alone photographing one. There created when the moons angle refracts light off the mist. In doing so a Moonbow is created.

For this Image I used the following settings Iso400| F/2.8| 49.4 second Bulb exposure| 5D3| 24-70MM f/2.8 Lens at 24mm.| Tripod | Mechanical release
