I posted a version of this earlier with the building to the left cropped from the image, I decided to edit another version and incorporate the building into the shot as well. This was captured during the twilight period, shortly after the sun had set.

Such a beautiful location. I look forward to visiting here again.

I am struggling to find myself with my Landscapes. This shot was taken just as the Sun broke over the Horizon

I like the ability to capture the dynamic range of an image via multiple exposures., But am struggling with creating a realistic looking image as my eyes seen at the time of capture.
My previous attempt was stacking images of different exposure and just am not happy wit the result as to what I remember seeing that morning..
Here I used Niks Hdr software and feel its allot closer, But did I achieve a realistic looking Image Like I wanted to.

I would like Honest Opinions on what you think? As my goal is to keep things real!

This image is of Permaquid Lighthouse in Bristol Maine, Its one of many that line the coastal waters off Maines coast...

This Image was captured after sunset during twilight with an array of Lee filters and a Polarizer. I used 3 images to render the dynamic range and manually merged them in PS. creating this final image.

I liked the leading lines of the rock formations leading up from the Ocean to the lighthouse, along with the reflection from high tide pushing water up onto the rocks creating this small pool of water which I used to capture the reflection.

The 3 Images used was one image for the sky, another for the rocks and house which were dimly lit at this point and needed a stronger exposure and lastly a very slow shutter to capture the lighthouses beacon light emitting light which happens about every 5-6 seconds.

I Photographed Portland Head Lighthouse in mid afternoon light.

Regrettably I had to leave to make other destinations before the light got sweet. But the Tall ship entering the harbor from the right added extra interest to the image!

This image is from Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Its a 3 Image manual blend using a Polarizer and stacked ND Grad filters aligned to help balance the light.

This location frustrated me as I waited 4 1/2 hours here for better light, but people were climbing all over the rocks everywhere like Ants, and I do mean everywhere. so I elected to stay with this earlier image shooting into the sun and worked this up as a final.

Another beautiful setting along Maine's coastal landscape! This Lighthouse is very small as far as lighthouses go.
