An Eared Grebe, I seen allot of these at Bolsa Chica, but few offered a lower perspective as they were in areas where you were 12' above them on the dikes, I was happy to find this one in an area I could get a lil lower.

I Photographed this Pied Billed Grebe at Santee Lakes in California. In Ohio they can be difficult to approuch, they often dive to elude predators as well as forage for fish.
