A Sunflower Field was planted in a local nearby community to bring awareness and memory to a lil 7 Yr Old girl who died from a rare form of Brain Cancer.

It's great to see the outpouring of support for a community and family that lost a child far to young.

This flower represents approx 25,000 flowers blooming in her memory.

I have always found the vein structure in leaves fascinating.

When leaves are backlit the sun shines through the leaf enhancing the detail with the structure of the leaves.

I placed these in a plamp setup and phtographed them backlit against the sunlit grass.

No idea just goofing around and trying something different playing with my Macro lens with extension tubes.
