After a night of snowfall in the Lake District, here the pastures of St John's in the Vale can be seen from the slopes of High Rigg, with the green and yellow tones contrasting wonderfully with the surrounding white hills. The dappled sunlight was just glorious; perfectly illuminating the cross-section of drystone walls below, as well as the silver birch tree on the fellside.

The weather was clearing from the west yesterday so thought I would pop to the Roaches for sunset. Some lovely light as the sun started to drop.
