We spent a beautiful Thursday morning up at Conowingo Dam watching the Bald Eagles do their thing - it was amazing!

It takes a little over an hour to get to Conowingo from our house. As soon as we got out of the car we had our first eagle sighting.
Nothing like quick reward! Ironically, there were way more eagles in one place here in MD than we ever saw in AK.

From November to February people come from all over to view the Bald Eagles that visit this area and fish from the Susquehanna River. Even on a week day, it was quite crowded, but on weekends it is wall to wall birders/photographers.
