Happy Bench Monday!

These were taken two Saturdays ago at the Hopkins lacrosse game. It was a delightful 60 degrees that afternoon, but you can see the remnants from where they plowed the field earlier. Later in the season, there will not be so many empty benches during the games. Hopkins won easily on this day against Michigan and are now 4-0.

We spent today getting our son set up in his new home in Kalamazoo. In the afternoon we got a nice tour of the campus by the young man who is the head Lacrosse coach (and saw lots of fences!). Our son then drove us up to Grand Rapids where we are spending the night, as we have a 5:30 a.m. flight back to Baltimore. It was a pretty emotional goodbye.

It finally warmed up enough today (mid 30s) to take my soccer team outside to practice in the snow. A fun thing to do once a year. They had a great time!
