The reason for this visit back in January was that our best friend was being sworn in (Investiture ceremony) by the Govenor as a Special Appeals Judge for the State of Maryland. The Investiture took place in this beautiful General Assembly room in front of family, friends and all the legislators and judges that we see on TV all the time. He was the only one being sworn in so it was all about him. We were so delighted to be able to attend this on a weekday afternoon.
