My reason for going out to this farm was to do a photo shoot for a friend that I teach with. She wanted to get some pictures of her horse Kalle (the horse's nickname). He is a 19 year old Friesian gelding and a real beauty. This was a very different shoot for me and it was a blast. This was also my friend Janet's birthday - it was great to be able to do this for her.

Kalle's blanket had just come off and he was still damp from an earlier bath. You could see the steam coming off his coat as the chilly Nov air hit his warm coat.
