Minnetoska is the summer camp that my sister and I went to between 1965-1968. It is about 15 minutes outside of Oakland, MD and sits right on the West Virginia/Maryland line. In the early 70s my sister met her husband there while both were counselors. The camp shut down in 1991 and the 250 acres were divided into 32 parcels. We jumped at the chance to buy one of the lots. This is our 6 1/2 acres of beautiful woods.
No house, just woods (including 1/2 acre hemlock grove), ferns, rocks and stream. We have a nice area set up for camping. It's our little "state park".
