He is such a funny lion. He's quite clueless which makes him so sweet.
Expressions like' he's not the sharpest tool in the shed' have been used to describe him.
Its not that he doesn't think, he is just innocently clueless.
I mean he always knows which is the biggest piece of meat at dinner time and will focus on it to make she he gets that piece, so that is pretty smart.
When he has had enough that sweet exterior changes pretty quickly and you know he means business.
His two sisters will gang up on him if Amari isn't around to back him up and i think he secretly loves the attention.
He is a very cautious cat always letting his sisters go first or try something new first.
He loves to play with metal bowls or saucepans and we often throw them for him to chase or catch, which he does and he does well.
He is very athletic and the height he can jump and the co ordination he has to catch a bowl in his paws is incredible.
All in all he is a lovely lion.

.... if the cats ever use their new diamond studded chair. Well, normally they don't but for some reason Tessa lay in it all day today. As much as I know the futility of suggesting why a cat does anything I'll still hazard a guess to say the sun came out today!
Two more shots in comments.

ODC: beneficial moments and textures in nature
The little ovals of frost caught my attention here, reminding me of flowers in a garden. Photographed in macro, they have many more details than appeared to the naked eye. This is my husband's favorite of the frost-and-snow shots I got this morning. This is frost on a car window with a few tiny snowflakes thrown in for variety--everything in the image is frost, snow, or ice. In real life, this scene is two inches across or less.

Yesterday, Evie giving me the 'feed me now' stare. She'd just been in the garden with Olive for a wee, but had come in with what I thought was a bit of twig or leaf stuck in her ear. Turns out it was a small worm, heaven knows how she managed that :) Wiggle the worm was released safely outside.
