There are several pictures of the town's bus station on my stream, but this is the first featuring a trolleybus. London Transport BUT 1812 sweeps past on a 603 around 1960.

In 1976 my bus photography was very hit and miss, only taking the odd picture from time to time if something looked interesting. Taking a break from snapping LMS Merseyrail electrics, I took PTE Leyland Panther 1025 in Upper Aughton Road on 9 September, 1976
