ADL Enviro 200 Darts, 36968 (SN63VVC), 36969 (SN63VVD), 36971 (SN63VVF), 36970 (SN63VVE) and 36962 (SN63VUV), pictured together around the back of Stagecoach North East's Wheatsheaf depot at Sunderland on 12th October 2013. These new vehicles replaced most of the Pointer 2 Darts and Sunderland's three remaining R-registered Alexander ALX200 Darts when they entered service just a week later after this photo was taken.

On the 18th January 2014, this line-up of brand new ADL Enviro 300NG bodied Scania K270UBs, was seen at Stagecoach North East's Wheatsheaf depot in Sunderland, prior to entering service. Although delivery of Sunderland's first batch of gas buses was completed by December 2013, the vehicles were unable to enter service until the construction of the refuelling infrastructure for the gas-powered buses was completed in late February 2014.

Seen around the back of Stagecoach North East's Wheatsheaf depot at Sunderland on the 7th March 2015, Volvo B10M training bus 20551 (P551ESA), ADL Enviro 200 Dart 36083 (NK59BNB), ADL Enviro 300NG bodied Scania "gas bus", 28037 (YP14TGJ) and Alexander ALX300 bodied MAN 18.220, 22215 (T215TND). The latter had just returned from a short spell on loan to Stagecoach in Newcastle.
