A big sea running down at the famous Crowns engine houses of Botallack Mine yesterday. I have never faced into such strong winds before, and was blown over once or twice. If the winds had been blowing off shore, I would never have risked it.
I hid behind a partly fallen wall and kept popping out to take the shots, the camera was being jerked around like a machine gun and I'm happy to say that the fantastic IS got me lots of keepers but could do nothing to stop my empty camera bag spinning around my neck and nearly throttling me.
