Taken this morning in our local park, Marnie and I went down to Plantsbrook. Even though the water has receded a lot in the last day or so, our recent storms have caused such fast-flowing water it's pushed the broken branches from the overhead trees down to form a partial dam which you can see on the lower left hand side of my picture. We haven't had a wetter winter for decades here in the UK and we're not prepared !

Every fave and comment is deeply appreciated, my Flickr friends.

This morning's walk brought the most beautiful, dazzling sunshine but my goodness, it was cold ! You can't feel it sitting at your screen, but I could !

Thank you so much for all your fantastic support over the past years. Really, so appreciated my dear friends. Thank you ! 😊

which, of course, it was ! Another morning in dazzling sunshine, this time down at our local duck pond. I hope you like it. My goodness, it was cold (for England), especially in the slight breeze. The poor birds only had one small patch of unfrozen water to satisfy their thirst. Poor things... but it was so beautiful, just like frosted glass.

Here's some music I hope you like too. Please right click the link and open in a separate tab - thanks !

Here's a little landscape from our local park, on this nice sunny day. It was lovely for Marnie and me to escape just for a little while into the freshness of an early February morning. The sense of freedom was wonderful ! Troubles and worries simply dropped away for bit.

Such a nice view from the 2nd bridge we came to this morning, at Newhall Valley Park. A little egret - can you see him? A thoroughly lovely walk, friendly people with their dogs. Everyone said "good morning" and we were very happy, Marnie and I. So I made a picture and here it is - hope you like it !
