Taken while out for our morning walk, Marnie and I got a bit wet ! Here we see a break in the clouds which lasted a few hours - until now, when it's coming down heavily again. Taken this morning with my iPhone and edited in Topaz Studio and PicMonkey. I know many people would love to have rain like this day after day after day - sorry if my complaining makes you cross ! At least we have water - lots of it.

For the first time in what seems like weeks we've had sun today. This was taken by our local park pond, looking down a path which is really meant for drainage to the field beyond. Although it lifted my spirits to be in the sun, the wind was biting -- I guess we can't have everything 😃 !

Yesterday morning, we woke to freezing fog. Cold... but Marnie had to have her walk, and here we are by our local pond. The sun was just breaking through to illuminate the scene. I hope you like it as much as I do. Best viewed large -- you can see the little blocks of ice resting on the surface of more ice. Must admit, I was cold all day after this outing ! 😃

Taken this morning, the sun beckoning. We actually walked to the left through one of the gaps in the fence, then across the field, trying to avoid the few remaining patches of mud. This is one of our favourite walks, leading to the back of Newhall Mill then back along another path. Marnie and I hope you like it too.

Taken at Newhall Valley Country Park this morning, one of my favourite places for a walk with my dog who kindly waits for me while I take photos. I wait for her while she sniffs everything, so we get on fine !
This is Plants Brook (originally Ebrook, Ebrooke or East Brook, a stream in Erdington and Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England. It's a tributary of the River Tame, whose waters ultimately flow, via the River Trent and the Humber, into the North Sea.
