Frosty, sunshiny scene taken while walking Marnie in our local park this morning, on firm, frozen ground. No mud ! A bright and cold day followed, with no wind. So glad to be alive on days like this !

when wandering with Marnie in our local park. Cold but clear, ideal for seeing the moon rising just after the sun set. We enjoyed it so much we spent quite a long time out, plus walking back home again. Twenty million things left undone, but this is a bit of freedom.

Our first frost this winter morning. A lovely clear day, very cold but dry, so it didn't feel so cold. It was beautiful. This is the road leading up to Newhall Mill there on the left of the frame. The Mill is privately owned, no access to either the mill or grounds except on special days and dogs are never allowed in the grounds, unfortunately.
