Though the San Giovanni church seems like a tourist attraction, it is in fact located on privately owned farmland. Due to the large amount of tourists flooding the area, there are now many restrictions. There are shoulder high fences protecting the grass and there are “forbidden signs” everywhere. Flying drones is not permitted, neither is walking on the grass. It isn’t as idyllic as it looks on the famous Dolomites photos.

The largest and oldest convent in Tyrol, inhabited by the Augustinian Canons. It is located in the municipality of Varna, in the immediate vicinity of Bressanone, and is one of the most prestigious abbeys in northern Italy and the Alpine Arch. The Abbey of Novacella was founded in 1142 by the blessed bishop Hartmann, initially conceived as an autonomous institution for practicing the arts and education. In the course of its evolution it has also been a hospice for pilgrims going to Val Pusteria, and today it has become a reference point for local companies that find agriculture, viticulture, herbal medicine, a cultural and training center here....

Of the many lakes in the Dolomites, this is one to remember, this asthma spa against this massif is very impressive to see. With the lake at its foot, it makes a beautiful painting for all seasons....it also provides a good base for hiking trips to the Tre Chimes, the building in the middle is a spa for children with asthma....At first I didn't know what to do with it because there were almost no clouds above the mountain, but I saw these beautiful clouds approaching with the last sunlight on them and was happy to behold it.....
