Pan di Zucchero (sugar loaf) is the name of that big rock in the background at a distance from the coast. Actually the original sardinian name is "Su Concali" (The head). It lies in the south west coast of Sardinia in a area where there were many mines.
If you want to see other photos of this area see the dedicated album of mine "Nebida, Masua e Su Concali", you can find the link here below at right.

Masua, south-west Sardinia. Su Concali is the original Sardinian name of that rock visible in the photo in the distance, which nowadays it's commonly known as "Pan di zucchero" (sugar loaf).
Taken at Christmas eve, still pretty hot.
See the album found below at right for other images of this place and rock.

This is the same place of my previous photo: “The long night of the soul”.
Sun has risen, ghosts and vampires have disappeared, the sea and soul can rejoice again…
The smart photographers will say: “Daylight???” and will snub this photo… (:-)
