Ajanta Caves, Maharastra, India, 1985
In 1985 I made a long trip to India. Among the places I visited one of the most impressive was the compound of Ajanta Caves.
The caves were carved by Buddhist monks around the 2nd century BC and are one of the most important and beautiful ancient artistic work and archaeological site of all India.
