The beautiful Indian green bee-eater was just at the moment of take off when this image was captured. I spent about an hour with these little birds and they are certainly very active little creatures. It was such fun to see them on the fly .

It is always great to see the white pelicans return . This image was taken in Ocala . They only stay for a very short time so you feel fortunate when you pick the right day to check.

After two months without my drobo and a month of vertigo I am finally, able to post again. I was so sick with vertigo that I did not use my computer much ! My apologies to all for the lack of commenting but hope to try and catch up in the weeks that follow.

A simple portrait of the fiery throated hummingbird. I could not resist taking this image as the lighting was so pretty and the Background so clean giving me a clear shot at this little beauty. There is only one part of Costa Rica that I have seen this species and it is the mountains near Sevegre. One of my favorites and always wonderful to see them just one more time !!
