this is a shot of the new Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital. I used to work in the old one, so it was neat to come back and tour the new building. It's beautiful inside and out.
This photo doesn't really do the building justice - it is in a sort of half-moon shape from the front, with two wing shapes (you can see one on the upper right - there is a mirror one on the left) that act as water collectors for landscaping and other grey water uses. I just couldn't get far enough back and high enough to get a better shot.
I spent the last week in DC at a conference, which is why I haven't been very active.

My colleague, F. getting promoted to lieutenant colonel by his wife and my old boss, Colonel B. F. asked me to shoot his promotion today. It was fun. This is my favorite because of his daughter on the bottom left.
This is my colleague M. at our annual holiday party, playing Yankee Swap - the gift giving game where people get to steal your gift.
I photographed a friend's funeral today at the request of his wife. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant, so he received military honors.
