As an after though they decided to put dampener cables on the bridge; to prevent the main cables banging together. We had about 6 weeks to install the cables, often being on the ropes all day in all weathers.

Every day started with a 300ft climb up our ropes to get us to the work location. It initially took 3 days of aid climbing (drilling and placing anchors) to install the ropes. On the plus side there was only another 7 cooling towers on this site!
