One year after the start of the huge moorland fire above Tameside and Saddleworth I went up to see what if any regeneration had taken place.
I've been up a fair few times over the last year, 2 months ago was the last visit. I was quite surprised how much has started to grow in some areas, however other areas are totally devoid of vegetation. A natural patchwork quilt that will take many more years to fill in the missing spaces.
