"Big Basin of Water" aptly describes Lake Billy Chinook as the spring runoff begins. Three rivers pour into this huge basin with Cove Palisades holding it all in. Just downstream a ways, Round Butte Dam manages the whole thing. And just because the seasons don't get along very well this time of year, storm clouds brew to the west.
