I’ve been inspired lately by the slow-motion video shot by my friend Sreedhara Alavattam, so decided to give a try. I quickly learned that I had to buy a new CF-Express card so I could shoot it in 4K, but otherwise it went pretty smoothly. This video (downsized from 4K), was shot in very low light with an R5 set at ISO 8000. Tracking a flying bird with a long telephoto lens with a gimbal head is challenging, as you can see from the jerky panning motion. It also challenged the AF system on my camera, as you can see.
