Taken for the Saturday Self Challenge 'Right Angles'

These are concrete steps leading from the beach to the top of the sea wall. I pass them nearly every day and thought of them immediately when I saw the challenge. I always envisaged a high contrast image with the steps in deep shadow and the wall in sunlight. I needed a bit of luck with the weather as we have not had much sun of late. Not only did I need sun but it needed to be at a time when the angle would work with the shadows I wanted and when the tide was low enough to get to the beach below the steps. Luckily it all came together as planned.
