Sankt Wolfgang ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Bad Griesbach im Rottal im niederbayerischen Landkreis Passau.
Der Legende nach soll sich der heilige Bischof Wolfgang von Regensburg auf seiner Wanderung ins Salzkammergut im Jahr 976 in dieser Gegend verirrt haben. Ein geworfenes Beil zeigte ihm den Weg aus dem Wald. An der Stelle, an der das Beil aufschlug, entstand die Wallfahrtskirche St. Wolfgang.

"Panoramic view of St.Wolfgang" Sankt Wolfgang is a district of the town of Bad Griesbach im Rottal in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau.
According to legend, Saint Bishop Wolfgang of Regensburg got lost in this area on his hike to the Salzkammergut in 976. A thrown ax showed him the way out of the forest. The pilgrimage church of St. Wolfgang was built on the spot where the ax struck.

Gemeind sind nicht die Berge, der wunderbaren Fernsicht auf die Alpen. Sondern des vor kurzem eröffneten neuen Autobahnteilstücks Pocking - München. Alarm für LKW`s wegen zu hoher Ladung, Schutz des Tunnels bei Malching. Er wurde schon viele male ausgelöst.

The "height control" area is not the mountains, the wonderful distant view of the Alps. But the recently opened new Pocking - Munich motorway section. Alarm for trucks due to excessive load, protection of the tunnel near Malching. It has been triggered many times.
