One of the most breathtaking places I have had the pleasure of visiting is Øye, Norway. Farmland meets fjord as mighty mountains rise from the earth. It is a truly magnificent place, one that I hope to return to in the years to come.

While walking through the Butterfly Garden at the Woodland Park Zoo I noticed this most lovely and delicate creature sipping nectar from fuschia colored petals.

At the Bardu Husky Lodge, in northern Norway, my youngest son greets Embla with a wet nose to nose kiss. His favorite part of the day was greeting each husky, one by one, for a cuddle and hellos.
